Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) has been a challenge on the Prairies for 100 years. However, to prevelance and geography of the disease across Western Canada continues to change and grow. In recent years, Alberta has witnessed year-by-year fluctuations of FHB’s impact with a trend of increasing distribution. For this reason, research on this disease continues to be a significant priority. As new research is completed, new information relevant to FHB risk mitigation is available. This document, released within the past month, is the most recent to be compiled. Consider this document a tool to reduce FHB’s impact on your farm.
