Availability of Personal Protection Equipment should be improving

  • As there appears to be a more readily available supply of PPE equipment and products at the retail level, the Government of Alberta is pulling back on their distribution of PPE, apart from the health care sector and other few exceptions.
  • Last week, UFA had begun to stock their retail shelves with KN95 masks and other PPE supplies across Alberta.
  • Information is available on the Alberta BizConnect webpage which provides procurement websites that may be able to link farmers to PPE suppliers.
