Alberta Barley - a hearty, healthy choice!

Meat Loaf with Barley Flakes

clove garlic (optional)
barley flakes
oatmeal
ketchup
salt
pepper
egg
milk

ketchup
nutmeg
brown sugar
dry mustard

Beat egg with the milk and add to all ingredients listed above those two items. Put into a casserole dish. Stir ketchup, nutmeg, sugar and mustard together and spread on top. Bake uncovered for at least 1 ½ hours in a 350 – 375° oven (180 - 190° C).
