Saskatoon Rhubarb Dessert
Ingredients

1/3 cup butter or margarine

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs
-
3/4 cup barley flour
-
3/4 cup all-purpose flour

4 1/2 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp salt
-
4 cups saskatoon berries
-
1 cup rhubarb
-
3/4 cup milk (to obtain desired consistency)

1/2 cup sugar
-
3/4 cup flour
-
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/3 cup butter or margarine
Directions

Cream butter and sugar together then add eggs and beat.

Stir dry ingredients into creamed butter mixture and then add milk.

Mix well and pour into greased 10" x 13" baking dish.

Sprinkle saskatoon berries and rhubarb over batter.

In a separate bowl, combine topping ingredients and spread over the top.

Bake at 350F for 40 to 45 minutes.

Serve warm with ice cream.
