Barley Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hamilton's Barley Flour
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups milk

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine barley flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. 
  2. In a smaller bowl beat together egg and milk. 
  3. Add this to the flour mixture and stir until combined well. 
  4. Ladle onto a hot, lightly greased griddle (380F). 
  5. When edges begin to dry and bubbles appear, turn to brown the other side.
