Barley Buttermilk Pancakes
Ingredients

1 egg

1/3 cup sour cream or yogurt

1/3 cup buttermilk
-
1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt
-
1 tsp sugar

1 cup whole barley flour
Directions

Beat the egg with the sour cream and buttermilk.

Sift the dry ingredients.

Stir in egg mixture and let stand 5 minutes.

Ladle onto a hot, oiled nonstick skillet.

Flip pancakes to lightly brown each side.

Serve with desired topping.
