Barley Scones
Ingredients

2 cups whole barley flour

2 Tbsp granulated sugar

2 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 egg
-
1 cup plain yogurt
-
1 Tbsp butter
Directions

In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients.

Add wet ingredients.

Turn onto a floured surface and knead lightly.
-
Pat or roll into a 10 x 8" rectangle or two circles.

Place on greased baking sheets.
-
Score into shapes half way through loaf.
-
Bake at 400F (200C) for 15 minutes or until centre springs back when lightly touched.
-
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
